HGV Driver Class 2
Location: Partridge Green, RH13 8RA
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 39-hour week, Monday - Thursday (8:00am-4:30pm) Friday (8:00am-3:30pm)
Job Description
An overview of the role:
- Delivering steel and goods on a HGV vehicle, ensuring the correct goods arrive in excellent condition and to scheduled times.
- Providing excellent customer service and being a good representative of the Company
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed daily (e.g. tacho, daily checks & delivery tickets)
- Carry out general maintenance to vehicles (e.g. greasing, fluid levels) and ensure cleanliness of vehicle
- Support the operations of the branch yard when not needed for driving
Who we are looking for:
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Previous experience of driving an HGV is required
- Up to date CPC qualification is required
- Previous experience of working in the Construction/Steel industry is preferred but not essential
- Previous forklift operation experience is preferred but not essential
- All our lorries have Hiabs with full training given to the right candidate
- Clean license
- Hiab licence preferred but not essential as training will be given
